Q 2: Is the
saying: "Sadaq Allah-ul-`Azhim" (Allah speaks truth) after reciting the Qur'an
a Bid`ah (innovation in religion) and not a Sunnah?
A:
Saying, “Sadaq Allah-ul-‘Azhim” after recitation is religiously groundless. Saying it therefore on a regular basis is a kind of Bid`ah that should be abandoned, as the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
He who did any act for which there is no sanction from our behalf, that is to be rejected.
